On Sunday, March 16, tens of thousands of people around the country took part in the ultimate Sport Relief challenge.

In Scunthorpe, the United squad were getting involved with a fun run in Central Park which happened on Sunday, March 9.

The lads thoroughly enjoyed themselves along with everyone taking part in the fun run.

This helped to raise £1000, as well as Sainsbury's figure of just over £5000. With many things still going on, the store will hope to raise £6500.

Over 200 'mile' events were taking part across the country.

Sport Relief is a fundraising event that takes place every two years.

It aims to harness the power and passion of sport to change lives for the better.

Comic Relief spends the money raised through Sport Relief to help vulnerable people living incredibly tough lives both at home in the UK and in the world's poorest countries.
