NEW ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR
We are pleased to announce that Lee Collinson has been appointed an Associate Director of Scunthorpe United Football Club.
Lee (38) has been an avid supporter of the club for over 25 years and in recent years has been very active in personally supporting the club with a number of sponsorship arrangements. 2008 saw Lee complete his ambition to visit all current 92 Premier and Coca Cola Football League grounds.
Lee is Head of Corporate Banking for Barclays Commercial Bank in Yorkshire and the Humber and is married with two young children
Lee was born in Scunthorpe, attended Foxhills Comprehensive School and was well known in local junior football circles, where he managed Ashby Institute for 10 years culminating with them becoming County champions in 1999. He is currently a trustee and sponsor of the Jack Kalson Junior Football League in the town.
On accepting the invitation to become an Associate Director, Lee said: "It is an immense privilege to be offered the opportunity to become an Associate Director of Scunthorpe United, the club I have supported since I was a child. I look forward to contributing to its continued successful development."
