We are pleased to announce that Jason Oxenforth has joined the main Board of Directors of Scunthorpe United.

Jason (38) has served as an Associate Director since March 2004 since when he has contributed greatly to the support of the main Board over a wide range of activities, not least in the development of the commercial aspects of the Club.

Jason is local born and is well known as a former player in both football and cricket circles in Scunthorpe and District. He is the senior partner of the local firm Trent Valley Electrical Services and has been a keen and regular supporter of Scunthorpe United since 1974.

The appointment brings to five the number of main Board Directors on which Jason will serve alongside Chairman Steve Wharton, Vice Chairman Rex Garton, Keith Wagstaff and Simon Elliot.

On accepting the invitation to join the main Board, Jason said: "I am delighted to become a full Board member and look forward with pride and enthusiasm to continue working with everyone at the Club in furtherance of the aims for success both on and off the pitch."
