NEW GENERAL MANAGER APPOINTED

Scunthorpe United today announced that their general manager Jamie Hammond has resigned.
His position has been taken by David Beeby, who is currently the company secretary.
David has been at the football club since completing his degree at Aston University in 2001.
Steve Wharton, the chairman, thanked Jamie Hammond for the contribution he had made over his six year tenure and commented that this was a great opportunity for David Beeby.
With David's wealth of knowledge, gained over the last nine years at the club, he was confident the club would move forward and continue to make significant improvements in the management of the football club.
