SEEKING A RETURN TO WINNING WAYS

21 August 2015

Iron boss Mark Robins says Saturday's game against Millwall will be a tough test, but says his players have got to go out and play with belief.

United are looking for back-to-back victories at home in the league and Robins feels the squad can take a lot of positives from last weekend's match against Crewe Alexandra.

"We've got to go and show no fear and play our own game. It's another tough game, but it's on home soil and we did well last time out," he told The Iron PlayerHD.

"It's not too long ago since last Saturday, where we put in a good performance and kept a clean sheet against Crewe so we've got to get back to that.

"They're always a tough proposition, they're energetic in the middle of the pitch and they've got good players."

While highlighting the need for a victory over the Lions, Robins says that the squad must make a marked improvement on the display against Wigan Athletic.

"Football's all about results and we've got to start getting them to give us that momentum going forward," he said.

"We're not being cut open, we're not being played off the park, but we've got to stop presenting chances to opposition teams.

"We've got to make it much harder for teams to score against us."

"We do have good players, but they've got to now go out and show just how good they are," he continued.
