The Iron will look to return to winning ways on Tuesday as they entertain promotion chasing MK Dons at Glanford Park in their rearranged clash.
Mark Robins’ side fell to a 2-0 defeat in their last match against Bristol City, which was their first league defeat since October’s reverse to Notts County.It will be a tough test for the Iron on Tuesday though as Karl Robinson’s visitors come into the game in third and just three points off top spot.
The Dons won 2-0 against Barnsley at the weekend and have suffered just one defeat in their last 10 League One matches and also have the league’s best attack.
Highly-rated teenager Dele Alli netted his 12th of the season at the weekend and will hope to continue the form that has seen him linked with several top flight clubs.
Mark Robins is likely to give ‘keeper Luke Daniels his Iron debut after his recent arrival from West Bromwich Albion, with Sam Slocombe and James Severn both injured.
Defender Andrew Boyce ended up in goal for the Iron against Bristol City, but will return to the back four for the visit of MK Dons.
This will be the first meeting between the two sides, with the original match rescheduled due to international call-ups.

The last victory at Glanford Park came in 2005/06, when Billy Sharp’s brace helped Scunthorpe to a 2-0 win, although the last two encounters have seen the Dons win 3-0.
