United are yet to win a competitive match against Leicester in their history, despite facing the Foxes on ten occasions.

The last instance the sides met was in 2011 at Glanford Park, in a Championship fixture.
Ian Baraclough was manager-he was sacked after a defeat the following week- and they went into the game on the back of three wins and a draw in the month before.
Sven-Goran Eriksson's side had suffered three defeats in four matches and their play-off hopes were seemingly over.
The Iron went down to a double from Portuguese defender Miguel Vitor. He poked the visitors into a lead from Paul Gallagher’s corner and Gallagher set him up again as he doubled their advantage with a second-half header.
Glanford Park’s goal celebrations were muted after Joe Garner’s header was adjudged to have been handled and the referee disallowed the goal, booking Garner.
Defender Kyle Naughton, on loan from Leicester, put the game to bed with a neat finish and the defeat left in the relegation zone left us in the final place in the relegation zone, four points adrift of Crystal Palace with two games to go.
The win for Leicester proved to be too little too late for the play-off hopefuls, as they lay five points behind sixth place with a one game remaining.
Leicester 3-1 Scunthorpe
The previous match came earlier in the 2010/11 season at the Walkers Stadium, as the struggling Foxes were being watched by prospective new manager Eriksson.
Paulo Sousa had previously been dismissed after Leicester’s dismal start to the season, as they lay in the bottom three with five points from nine games.
Martyn Waghorn put the home side in-front and Lloyd Dyer made it 2-0 with a cool finish on the break.
Six minutes later, Michael O’Connor pulled one back for the Iron and minutes later David Mirfin had a header cleared off the line by Richie Wellens. Franck Moussa then dashed the Iron’s hopes of a late goal by unleashing a 20-yard strike in stoppage time to seal a valuable win for the Foxes.
The match came around a month after Nigel Adkins left for Southampton, and Ian Baraclough was in his first fews as Iron boss.
Leicester 5-1 Scunthorpe
The previous season saw Leicester sweep aside the Iron to bolster their play-off hopes, leaving the Iron on the brink of the relegation zone.
Four first-half goals shocked the Iron and Paul Hayes pulled one back, before they made it five in the second-half.
A hat-trick from Paul Gallagher, double from Michael Morrison and one from Martyn Waghorn sealed our fate.
"In the first half we got a real mauling,” Iron manager Nigel Adkins told BBC Radio Humberside.
“I decided to keep the same 11 on the pitch because I knew it would hurt them and wanted to make sure that they never wanted to have that feeling again.
"I didn't want to give anyone the easy option of coming off at half-time and hiding away.
"I want this to be a wake-up call for the players. I know the result has hurt them but I now hope we can go on to better things."
Scunthorpe 1-1 Leicester
The Glanford Park encounter earlier in the 2009/10 season saw the sides share the points. A good result for the Iron, considering Leicester’s good start to the campaign saw them sitting in third place, with the Iron five points above the relegation zone in 20th.
A last-gasp winner from Martyn Woolford cancelled out Waghorn’s early goal. It came 90 minutes after Waghorn’s opener, as the Iron equalised in the dying moments of the game, three minutes into stoppage time.
Waghorn fired the visitors into a lead from a tight angle and it set the precedent for the rest of the game, as Joe Murphy heroically kept them from increasing their lead.
Woolford made them pay for their errors and he struck from the edge of the box to rescue a point for the Claret and Blue.
Adkins said: “We showed great spirit, we kept going until the end and finally got the goal we deserved.
"Our home form has generally been good this season, and this was another good result for us against a team up there near the top of the table."
