THE LAST HOME ENCOUNTER…

The last time the two sides played each other at Glanford Park ended in an entertaining 2-2 draw, with the Iron being denied from the penalty spot twice due to the heroics of Huddersfield keeper Ian Bennett.
The Iron took the lead through a fine strike from Oliver Norwood before Tommy Miller levelled for the Terriers. Bennett saved a penalty just before half time from Chris Dagnall and was also equal to Michael O’Connor’s penalty attempt just after the break.
Jordan Rhodes looked to have won the game for Huddersfield with a volley in the 86th minute but Dagnall made sure the Iron got a point when he poked the ball home with two minutes to go.
A CONVINCING WIN…
01/11/03 – Scunthorpe 6-2 Huddersfield
