Doncaster Rovers v Crawley Town
Doncaster will be keen to recover from back-to-back defeats by beating Crawley Town on Tuesday, though the visitors will have renewed confidence after ending a four-game losing streak. Rovers are even-money favourites with Crawley given an 11/4 chance of an away win, while a draw would be no surprise at 12/5. Doncaster have lost their last two games without scoring and Crawley are 5/1 to keep that sequence running for a third game in a row by winning to nil. Indeed, all three of Crawley’s wins this season have been by a 1-0 scoreline, and that trend is 17/2 to continue.

Gillingham v Peterborough United
Promotion hopefuls Peterborough United are 11/10 to return to winning ways against Gillingham on Tuesday, having endured their first draw of the season at the weekend. The Gills also drew on Saturday and another stalemate is 5/2, while a home win for Peter Taylor’s troops is 23/10. Peterborough scored exactly two goals on both occasions when these two sides met last season, and that’s 5/2 to occur again on Tuesday. Cody McDonald is deemed the hosts’ biggest goal threat at 6/4 to score anytime, but Kyle Vassell is the 9/2 favourite to score first.

MK Dons v Bradford City
Bradford City’s poor turn of form is expected by the league sponsors to continue on Tuesday as MK Dons are odds-on to inflict a fourth defeat in five games for the Bantams. The Dons are 17/20 for a home win, with Bradford given a 16/5 quote, while a draw is 5/2. This fixture produced five goals at Stadium MK last season and another five-goal thriller is 9/1, while the hosts are 25/1 to win 3-2 again. The teams’ most recent meeting ended with a 1-0 win for Bradford at Valley Parade in February though, and that’s an 11/1 chance on Tuesday night, with James Hanson assessed as being the likeliest scorer for the visitors at 7/4 to net ay any time.

Notts County v Leyton Orient
Leyton Orient are Sky Bet’s 6/5 favourites to collect all three points in Tuesday night’s clash with Notts County at Meadow Lane. The Os are unbeaten on the road this season, including a 1-0 victory at Aston Villa in the Capital One Cup and a 3-2 win at high-flying Peterborough.
However, the Magpies have plenty of cause to be optimistic of defying odds of 11/5, having collected seven points from their last four games and denying the Posh victory on Saturday.
With neither side managing to find the net at the weekend, under 2.5 goals will temp plenty at 5/6, while a repeat of last season’s goalless draw between these two sides at Meadow Lane is 10/1.
Jake Cassidy heads the first goalscorer betting at 5/1 having opened his account a fortnight ago, while Darius Henderson, who already has three goals to his name this season, is considered the visitors’ biggest threat at 11/2.

Port Vale v Bristol City
Sky Bet League 1 leaders Bristol City are the Football League sponsor’s 11/10 favourites for Tuesday night’s clash at Vale Park. Port Vale will be desperate to defy their odds of 9/4 and avoid a sixth successive defeat in all competitions but can take some hope from scoring in their last four. The Robins, meanwhile, have been cut to 3/1 to win the title after their third straight win, with Aaron Wilbraham taking his tally to five for the season with the opener against Doncaster. Wilbraham is 4/1 to open the scoring again on Tuesday night - and 9/1 second favourite to be the league’s top scorer - while Kieran Agard and Jay Emmanuel-Thomas follow at 11/2 apiece. Tom Pope, who is 20/1 to top the scoring charts with Sky Bet, is considered the hosts’ joint biggest threat in this game along with Jordan Slew, also at 11/2.

Preston North End v Chesterfield
Sky Bet make Preston Nortj End odds-on to bounce back from Saturday’s defeat to Walsall, with Chesterfield 16/5 outsiders as they look to record back-to-back victories. The Spireites climbed to fourth in the table with an emphatic 4-1 victory over Scunthorpe, prompting their promotion odds to be cut to 5/1. Eoin Doyle took his tally to seven goals this season with a hat-trick and is 11/2 to open the goalscoring, 40/1 for another treble and 12/1 to be the Sky Bet League 1 top goalscorer. Lilywhites marksman Joe Garner, with four goals to his name, remains favourite to finish the season as the league’s top marksman at 6/1 while he also heads the first goalscorer betting at 4/1. A first defeat of the season for Simon Grayson’s men saw their outright odds drift slightly, with their title price now 6/1 from 11/2.

Rochdale v Walsall
Early-season draw specialists Walsall finally broke their winning duck at the weekend but will again be outsiders for the trip to Rochdale in Sky Bet League 1. The Saddlers are available at 19/10 to make it two wins on the spin with Rochdale, who stand higher in the table in 17th on goal difference, the 11/8 favourites. The draw is on offer at 12/5. Scoring goals has not been a problem for Dale with Matt Done leading the way with four in the League and it's 9/2 for him to add to his tally in a home win. By contrast Walsall have scored just six in seven games but three of those came in the morale-boosting 3-1 win over Preston on Saturday. Tom Bradshaw heads their goalscoring market at 11/2 to score the opener and 3/1 to hit the net during an away victory.

Scunthorpe United v Coventry City
Coventry City haven't tasted defeat since the opening weekend of the season and are 7/5 favourites to pick up another three points at Scunthorpe. The Sky Blues, who have moved up to fifth place and are into 6/1 for promotion, made it two wins from two since their return to the Ricoh Arena when they saw off Yeovil 2-1 on Saturday. Josh McQuoid and Frank Nouble head the first goalscorer market for the visitors, both being rated a 6/1 chance to score the opener. The Iron sit next to bottom in the table with just one win and a draw from their opening seven games, but the bookies haven’t given up and Sky Bet rate them at just 9/5 to gain a much-needed success, while the draw available at 12/5. The home side have the leakiest defence in the league with 17 conceded already but will hope that Paddy Madden, who grabbed their only goal in the 4-1 defeat at Chesterfield on Saturday, can produce in front of goal again. He is 11/2 joint favourite with Billy Kee to score the opener.

Swindon Town v Oldham Athletic
Swindon Town could move up to third in Sky Bet League 1 with victory over Oldham Athletic. The Robins are odds-on shots to follow up on Saturday's victory at Bradford and take all three points. However, they face an in-form Oldham side who have won two and drawn one of their last three matches and have not conceded a goal in goal in 360 minutes of combined League and Cup action - it's 6/1 with the League sponsor for the Latics to extend that run and win this game to nil. Former Tottenham striker Jonathan Obika, who scored both Swindon goals in the Valley Parade win, is 8/1 to net another brace and 15/8 to score in a home win, while Oldham's Jonathan Forte is 2/1 to add to his season's tally of five league goals. Obika and Forte both to score in this match is available at 7/1.

Yeovil Town v Crewe Alexandra
Yeovil Town are favourites to heap further misery on Sky Bet League 1 bottom side Crewe Alexandra on Tuesday night. The Glovers suffered a setback losing at Coventry on Saturday but return to Huish Park as odds-on shots to see off a Crewe side with only one win from their opening six matches. However, Yeovil's home form has been a little disappointing securing just two points from a possible nine and 4/1 shots Crewe will be boosted by Saturday's win against fellow strugglers Port Vale. The hosts have won the last two meetings between the sides 1-0 and its 6/1 for a repeat of that scoreline, while a 1-0, 2-0 or 2-1 victory for Gary Johnson's men is available at 15/8. Vadaine Oliver, who scored the winner for the Railwaymen against Vale, is 13/2 to score in another away win.

Fleetwood Town v Barnsley
Fleetwood Town are Sky Bet’s 6/5 favourites for Wednesday night’s clash at Highbury as both sides look to bounce back from their weekend defeats. The Cod Army head into the clash short on goals, with just one scored in their last four games, in stark contrast to Barnsley, who arrive on the back of an eight-goal thriller with MK Dons. The Tykes are 11/5 outsiders for the first ever clash between the two sides, while a draw is a slightly longer price at 12/5. Stephen Dobbie and Devante Cole share favouritism in the first goalscorer market at 11/2 apiece, while Conor Hourihane offers better at 10/1 having already found the net five times this season.
