United have completed the signing of Leeds United central midfielder Isaac Assenso on a free transfer.
Assenso pens a one-year deal, effective from July 1, with the option of a further 12 months in the club's favour following his release from Leeds United.
He becomes our fourth new arrival of the summer, following Stephen Dawson (Rochdale), Jack King and Scott Wiseman (both Preston North End) into Glanford Park.
The 18-year-old is also capable of playing at centre-back, and was a regular in the Leeds U18 side last season.
He excelled during a trial period with Scunthorpe in April, impressing manager Mark Robins and his coaching staff and has subsequently been handed his first professional contract.
