United sent out almost 2,000 free tickets to schools ahead of the weekend’s clash with Yeovil Town.
The club had been in contact with many of the schools in the local and surrounding areas, with the positive responses receiving both posters to advertise the club’s upcoming fixtures and free vouchers for their students to attend Scunthorpe United versus Yeovil Town.We’re not finished there and we want more schools to get on board. In response to this, we have again contacted the schools who hadn’t originally taken us up on the offer, to which we already have one or two more respondents.
Any schools that respond ahead of the Sheffield United match on March 14, 2015 will receive free U16’s vouchers for their students to be used against the Blades.
In return, we ask that the school is open to receiving posters on a monthly basis and will help us advertise our home games, with us offering support on a like-for-like basis in terms of event promotion and other things which you may require.
