Frederick Gough School triumph in SUFC Trust organised event.
In partnership with the school sports, Scunthorpe United Sports and Education Trust ran a year 10 girls (under 15) football tournament for schools that had taken part in the Female Football Programme.Seven school teams across North Lincolnshire participated in the tournament on March 24, 2015 which saw Frederick Gough School girls run out victorious, with St Bedes’ Catholic School, Sir John Nelthorpe, Axeholme Academy, South Axeholme, Vale of Ancholme and St Lawrence’s Academy also taking part in the event.
During the tournament, participants were asked to fill in a simple questionnaire to gauge football participation outside of school hours.
The club would like to congratulate the Frederick Gough girls teams and thank all of the schools for their participation and co-operation on the day of the event.
