That’s a hard question because there are so many different types of players. If you find yourself one-on-one with Hakeeb Adelakun in training then you know you are in trouble because he has unbelievable feet. Kyle Wootton is a fantastic goalscorer and Levi Sutton is a real talent too.
Jake Carter, via Facebook: Who did you support growing up and do you still support them?
I support Middlesbrough. I’m from the area, they are my local club and I still support them now. I went to the play-off final last year and I still try and get to a game when I can. I think they’ll be in the Premier League next year.

I get along with anyone but I get on really well with Luke Williams. We are both from the North-East and he was my roommate when we went to Spain, so probably him.

Nine-and-a-half.
Andy Smith, via email: Who is the hardest player you’ve come up against?
Yaya Toure. When we played Manchester City at Notts County he was on a different level. He may not look like he is sprinting but his physicality was a real eye opener. He’s the complete midfielder.

Rich Lorr, via email: What is your all-time favourite celebration?
When Fabrizio Ravanelli scored a hat trick on his debut for Middlesbrough in 1996, he whipped his shirt off over his head. It might not be the best celebration of all time but it’s the one I’ll always remember.

I’ve played in every position other than goalkeeper throughout my career but being in central midfield is my favourite because you always feel involved in the action.
@liamsufc, via Instagram: If you weren’t a footballer what job would you have?
Before I was a footballer I was a window fitter. I didn’t grow up wanting to be a window fitter but it was a job at the end of the day so it might have been that to be honest. My wife has her own range of clothes shops so hopefully by the time I retire she will be earning enough money for the both of us.
