DISAPPOINTING

24 November 2014

When you work towards building something that will last, the importance of the media and how it is used is paramount.

Our club is going through a huge amount of change, both on and off the pitch and we have a direction and drive that will ensure not only our survival, but growth in the near future.

Part of that process is to work hand in hand with the shareholders of the club to develop a trusting relationship, even though the investment is currently maybe a little one sided.

So when we see privileged shareholder information being posted on the Iron Trust's website and then tweeted, is truly disappointing.

There is a total disrespect for the other shareholders and the club and a brazen care free attitude towards publicising information, that is not published by the club, or authorised by the shareholders.

In a few weeks time our shareholders have the opportunity to ask the board the questions that the accounts throw up, not have to go through weeks of doubt and questions that cant be answered now, because the accounts have been leaked.

After the AGM is concluded the club will publicly announce them, with a full explanation and answer all the questions then raised by those accounts, not before the shareholders have had their right to question.

To see fragments of what is a full and concise report to its shareholders leaked onto a club supporters website, by a shareholding group, is not only wrong, but shows a complete disrespect for myself and the club.

Tell me why we should work with a group that does this?
