The Iron's U18 side won 5-2 at Parkgate in their third game of pre-season.
United went 1-0 up in the first minute when Jack Dyche went through and slotted past the goalkeeper.It was 2-0 a minute later - as George Hornshaw found the back of the net when through on goal.
Noel Burdett made it 3-0 after 15 minutes with a good finish.
Parkgate pulled a goal back when a long ball over the top caught out the Iron's defence square.
The away side's scoring continued when Hornshaw's shot was deflected in after half an hour.
The Iron conceded a second goal in almost identical fashion to the first when a long ball over the top caught the back four square.
The second half saw United score a fifth goal when Dyche took on the opposition back four and his good cross to the far post was turned over the line for an own goal.
