A massive thank you has to go to our ball boys this season, after being re-introduced at Glanford Park.
Head of Education for Scunthorpe United, Phill Dalowsky has coordinated the return of the ball boys, selecting representatives from the Scunthorpe United Under-12s Academy team and The St Lawrence Academy Under-14 side over the course of the season.
He's taken on the responsibility alongside his club role, while also being Assistant Headteacher and PE Teacher at The St Lawrence Academy.
Pictured left-to-right are Tom Buttrick, Nathan Lock (both SUFC Under-12s), Josh Walsh, Ahmed Nashall, Daniel Rounce, Callum Mould, Owen Bevan, Dylan Gosling, Bryan Gosling (all TSLA Under-14s) and Luke Dalowsky (SUFC Under-12s). Other boys who have contributed significantly but not on the photo are Liam Gillespie-Benson, Kai Sanderson, Sam Fisher (TSLA Under-14s) and Harry Griffin (SUFC Under 12s).
Phill commented: "I'd like to thank all the boys mentioned above for their continuous dedication and commitment to the football club and for giving up their time week in week out in order to support the first team.
"The players recognise the boys and even now the positions that they sit in such has been their consistency and effort. They've thoroughly enjoyed the season so far and hope that it lasts a little bit longer and finishes at Wembley!"
