The Iron can confirm Jack King has joined League Two side Stevenage on loan until January.
The 31-year-old has made 42 appearances for Scunthorpe, including 25 league starts, scoring two goals since his switch from Preston North End in May 2015.King, who can play in defence or in midfield, joins up with the Boro ahead of their Checkatrade Trophy fixture away at Leyton Orient this evening.
Stevenage then welcome Hartlepool United to Broadhall Way on Saturday in search of their second league win of the season.
