Alex Calvo-Garcia returns to Glanford Park in October and you could spend an evening in the company of the former Iron midfielder.
Launching his new book "Scunthorpe Hasta La Muerte" (Scunthorpe 'til I die), which has recently been translated from Spanish to English, the man who netted the only goal in our 1999 play-off final success against Leyton Orient recalls his career in the English game.Within the publication he talks about his eight-year stay in England with United which saw him make 236 appearances, scoring 33 goals in the process between 1996 and 2004.
The evening, taking place on Friday, October 7, 2016, includes a Spanish-themed three-course meal followed by a Q&A with the man himself who will also talk about his new publication and take part in a signing session.
As well as this, there will be a raffle and auction and tickets are available to book for the event now. It's £35 per person or £45 per person to include a copy each of Alex's book at a discounted rate. Group bookings are welcome.
