Scunthorpe United is devastated to learn of the passing of former academy player Levi Gallimore at the age of 23.
Signing a scholarship in May 2018, Levi would spend two years at the club following his departure from Brentford’s academy following a successful trial with the Iron towards the end of the 2017-18 campaign.
A striker, Gallimore would score four goals in the Youth Alliance League in 2018-19, supplementing two goals he netted in the FA Youth Cup. In the following campaign, he would get seven further league goals in 11 appearances, including a hat-trick against Huddersfield Town in September 2019.
During the second season of the scholarship, he would also make four appearances in the Youth Alliance Cup and three FA Youth Cup appearances.
