Ahead of the Iron's Vanarama National League North play-off semi-final encounter, the club wish to share some amendments to accessing the Executive Lounge.
For the play-off semi-final, the lounge will only be able to be accessed by supporters who have purchased an upgrade, or have an executive seat within the Verikal Stand.
With footfall within the stadium expected to be exceedingly high for this game in particular, Scunthorpe United is taking measures to ensure those who purchase admission to the Executive Lounge can enjoy a relaxing pre-match, half-time and post-match, with access to the bar, and without capacity limit or overcrowding worries. Supporters will be asked to show their tickets prior to entering the Executive Lounge, and will be refused access should no ticket be produced.
Iron supporters have frequently enjoyed the Executive Lounge after the game on a number of occasions this season, with the players and staff enjoying their post-match food and mingling in the area. With the expected sales in the Executive Lounge already expected to be greater than usual, regrettably there will be no post-match access to this area for supporters who have not purchased upgrades.
Players and staff will be asked to attend the Iron Bar following their post-match food intake, as a mediation to this alteration, with the decision taken on the ground of safety and capacity concerns.
