David Webb will referee the Iron’s Sky Bet League One fixture against Rochdale at Glanford Park on Tuesday night.
Webb has already taken charge of two United matches so far this season, in clashes with Gillingham and Bury respectively.
The man from Lancashire has officiated 34 encounters in the current campaign and, in those, he’s produced 82 yellow cards as well as dismissing one player.
He’ll be joined on Tuesday by assistant referees Barry Gordon and Graeme Fyvie, with Christopher Akers taking up the role of fourth official.
