Scunthorpe United can confirm that they will face North Ferriby FC in a pre-season encounter on Tuesday, July 28th, 2026 (kick-off 7pm).
This fixture at the Versa Sportswear Stadium comes just over a week prior to the start of the 2026-27 Enterprise National League season, and it will be the first meeting between the sides' first teams since the Villagers were forced to reform in 2019 following the winding up of North Ferriby United the previous season.
United's U23's would meet North Ferriby that same year and would fall to a narrow 2-1 defeat. However, the last time that the sides met in first-team form would come back in the pre-season of 2017, when United came out 6-0 victors thanks to first-half goals from Connor Townsend and Jonny Margetts, before a different second-half XI added four further strikes through a brace from Kyle Wooton, which was followed by netted efforts from Noel Burdett and Cameron Burgess.
